Terms of Use

Angeles Law LLC β€” Effective Date: June 2025

Welcome to Angeles.Law, the website and mobile application (together, the "Platform") operated by Angeles Law LLC ("Angeles Law," "the Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including our informational content, client accounts, intake forms, secure document upload, payment features, video library, SOS emergency assistance feature, and AI-powered tools such as the Rights Advisor and Policy Agent.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. No Attorney-Client Relationship; No Legal Advice

The Platform provides general legal information and tools for convenience. Use of the Platform β€” including submitting an intake form, uploading documents, sending an SOS request, creating an account, or interacting with the Rights Advisor or Policy Agent β€” does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Angeles Law LLC.

An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you and the Firm sign a written engagement agreement. Until then, information you submit may not be protected by attorney-client privilege, and the Firm has no obligation to act on your behalf, monitor deadlines, or preserve your legal rights.

Content on the Platform is not legal advice and may not reflect the most current legal developments. Do not act or refrain from acting based on Platform content without consulting a licensed attorney about your specific situation.

2. Attorney Advertising Notice

This Platform may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of certain jurisdictions. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the interactive features of the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Accounts and Registration

When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk.

5. SOS Emergency Assistance Feature

The SOS feature allows you to transmit your name, email address, and GPS location to the Angeles Law legal team so that we may attempt to assist you.

THE SOS FEATURE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES. IF YOU ARE IN A LIFE-THREATENING SITUATION OR REQUIRE IMMEDIATE POLICE, FIRE, OR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, CALL 911.

By activating the SOS feature, you consent to the collection and transmission of your location data and contact information to the Firm as described in our Privacy Policy. The Firm does not guarantee that an SOS request will be received, reviewed, or acted upon within any particular timeframe, and availability of the feature depends on your device, network connectivity, and location services settings.

6. AI-Powered Tools (Rights Advisor and Policy Agent)

The Rights Advisor, Policy Agent, and any other automated or AI-powered features provide general information only. These tools may produce incomplete or inaccurate output and do not account for the specific facts of your situation. Their responses are not legal advice, do not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney.

7. Intake Forms and Document Uploads

The Platform allows you to submit intake information and upload documents for the Firm's review. You agree to upload only documents you have the legal right to share and not to upload malicious files. Submitting information or documents does not obligate the Firm to represent you, and the Firm may decline representation for any reason permitted by law. Until a written engagement agreement is signed, do not assume that submitted materials are confidential or privileged, although we treat submissions with care as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Payments

Payments made through the Platform are processed by third-party payment processors. By submitting a payment, you authorize the charge and represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Fees for legal services are governed by your engagement agreement with the Firm; in the event of a conflict between these Terms and an engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls. Refunds, if any, are handled in accordance with your engagement agreement and applicable bar rules.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform, other users' accounts, or the Firm's systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation; (d) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including false SOS requests; (e) scrape, copy, or republish Platform content without authorization; or (f) use the Platform to harass, defame, or harm any person.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content β€” including text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and the Angeles Law name and branding β€” are owned by or licensed to Angeles Law LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for your personal, non-commercial use only. No other use is permitted without our prior written consent.

11. Multilingual Content

The Platform and Firm communications may be available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Hindi, and Turkish. Translations are provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version of these Terms and a translated version, the English version controls.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (such as payment processors, mapping services, and messaging platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY FEATURE β€” INCLUDING THE SOS FEATURE β€” WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANGELES LAW LLC AND ITS ATTORNEYS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE PLATFORM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, AND NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS THE FIRM'S PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER AN EXECUTED ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Angeles Law LLC and its attorneys, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.

16. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information β€” including your name, email address, location data transmitted through the SOS feature, and documents you upload β€” is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the Platform, the Firm, or other users. You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 1, 10, and 13–18) will survive.

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on the Platform, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
