Angeles Law, LLC

Effective Date: 06/01/2026

Last Updated: 06/10/2026

Angeles Law, LLC ("Angeles Law," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (Angeles.Law) and our mobile application (together, the "Services"), how we use it, who can access it, and the choices you have.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information. When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number, along with a password you create.
  • Intake form information. When you complete an intake or case evaluation form, we collect the information you choose to provide about yourself and your legal matter, which may include sensitive personal details such as immigration status, employment information, or details of a legal dispute.
  • Uploaded documents. Our Services allow you to upload documents through a secure document upload feature. We collect and store the documents you upload and any information contained in them.
  • Communications. If you contact us by phone, email, contact form, or messaging services such as WhatsApp, we collect the contents of those communications and your contact details.
  • Payment information. If you make a payment through the Services, payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Information collected through the SOS Emergency Feature:

Our app includes an SOS emergency button designed to alert our legal team when you need urgent assistance. When you activate the SOS feature, the app transmits your name, your email address, and your device's real-time GPS location coordinates to the Angeles Law legal team.

  • Location information is collected only when you activate the SOS feature and only if you have granted location permission to the app on your device.
  • We do not track your location in the background or at any other time.
  • You may revoke location permission at any time through your device settings; however, doing so will prevent the SOS feature from transmitting your location and may limit our ability to assist you in an emergency.

Information collected automatically:

Like most websites and apps, we may automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Services, such as IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and pages visited. This information helps us operate, secure, and improve the Services.

2. Your Consent to Location Sharing

Before you can use the SOS feature, your device will ask you to grant location permission to the app. By granting that permission and by activating the SOS button, you expressly consent to the collection and transmission of your real-time GPS coordinates, name, and email address to the Angeles Law legal team for the purpose of responding to your request for assistance.

The SOS feature is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or life-threatening emergency, call 911.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, intake submissions, and SOS alerts;
  • Evaluate potential legal matters and provide legal services to clients;
  • Communicate with you about your matter, our firm, and legal updates (including via email or WhatsApp, where you have opted in);
  • Process payments;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, including the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

4. How Uploaded Documents Are Stored and Who Can Access Them

Documents you upload through the secure document upload feature are:

  • Transmitted using encryption (HTTPS/TLS) between your device and our systems;
  • Stored on secure servers operated by our technology service providers, with access controls in place;
  • Accessible only to authorized personnel of Angeles Law, LLC β€” attorneys and staff members who need access to assist with your inquiry or matter β€” and to the technical service providers that host and maintain our systems, who are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your information for any other purpose.

If you become a client of the firm, documents and information relating to your representation are additionally protected by the attorney-client privilege and our duty of confidentiality under Rule 4-1.6 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.

Please note: Submitting information or uploading documents through the Services does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. However, we treat all information submitted by prospective clients with care and in accordance with our professional obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Within the firm, with attorneys and staff who need it to respond to you or work on your matter;
  • With service providers who help us operate the Services (such as website and app hosting, cloud storage, payment processing, and communications platforms), under obligations of confidentiality;
  • With your consent or at your direction (for example, with a court, agency, or opposing party as part of your representation);
  • As required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our clients, our firm, or others β€” subject always to our professional duties of confidentiality.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information and documents for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide legal services, satisfy our professional record-keeping obligations under Minnesota and Florida Bar rules, and comply with applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, and secure hosting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please notify us immediately at info@angeles.law if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • Location permission: You may grant or revoke the app's location permission at any time in your device settings.
  • Communications: You may opt out of non-essential communications (such as legal news updates) at any time by following the instructions in the message or contacting us.
  • Access, correction, and deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. We will honor such requests except where retention is required by law or by our professional obligations.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, WhatsApp or payment processors). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and where appropriate, we will notify you through the Services.
